This are the two videos that Isa, one of our classmates, recorded. The first one is only about 3 minutes long and the second one is 18 minutes long. Although they are two separated videos, the second one follows the first one.

We
don’t need to make any changes to our prototype design, as everyone
agreed on the location and disposition of the coffee shop. Some people
suggested it’s a little bit small, but there’s nothing we can do, as our
school is not too big.
There is a video that one of our classmates recorded while we were presenting our project, you can find in Design Results 4. It shows us explaining the main aspects of the design and our classmates asking questions and suggesting new ideas.

We’ve used an application called “My Four Walls” to design our coffee shop.
This is the first floor. As you can see, the indoors space measures 6mx4m and the outdoors space 6mx2m.
In the indoors space, they fit two 60cmx60cm tables, as there has to be space for people to make queues.
There is a white bar table, where the service sells the food. At the back of the room there is a wall unit were all the food and products will be kept. Also, at the right, there is a storage were white goods like coffee and hot drinks machines, orange juice machines, toasters and microwaves will be.
At the back of the room, at the left, there will be spiral stairs to go to the second floor. Our program didn’t allow to put stairs, but we will show an example later on.
Outdoors, there will be three tables for sunny days, and we want to put some plants to decorate it.

There will be a coffee and hot drinks machine like this one, maybe two, and an orange juice machine like this one:
This is the second floor. It sizes 6mx6m, as in the first floor, the outdoors space is covered by this floor.
As you can see in the picture, there are three doors, one on the left wall (that connects will the school’s eating room) and and other two on the back (that connect with the toilets). There are also three windows.
There are 15 tables, 60cmx60cm.

This is a 3D view of the second floor:
We want to put some drawings on the walls to decorate them, drawings that children will do, and also one clock in each floor so the students don’t arrive late to their lessons. Both floors will have air conditioning and heating.

The area where we want to build the Coffee Shop is 6 metres long and
has a width of 6, so both floors would measure 36 m2 each. In the
first floor, the outdoors space would measure 12 m2 and the indoors
space 24 m2. We’ve calculated that we could place 14 tables of 60x60 cm.

Once we knew the measures of the building, we made an approximate plan of the distribution and the structure of the Coffee Shop. This was just a rough draft, to have things clear, but without exact sizes.
